
Williamson S. Haman/Hammons was born sometime in 1797 in Lumberton, Roberson County, North Carolina. He was the son of Willis and Martha Haman/Hammons. He married Susan E. Mercer, daughter of Noah Mercer, her mother is unknown. Susan E. Mercer was born sometime in 1804 in Lumberton, Roberson County, North Carolina.
Through the years
Williamson S. Haman/Hammons and Susan E. Mercer had 10 children, Margaret, Zillyhollen, Harriet M., George W., James, Archibald, Flora, Patient, William Morris, Alvah Pinkney. All of their children were born in Robeson County, North Carolina.
Death
Williamson S. Haman died sometime before the 1860 census. I am not sure if he died in North Carolina or Georgia. I have not been able to find where he is buried. Susan died 12 Nov 1879 in Worth County, Georgia and is buried in the Joseph Sumner Family Cemetery in Worth County.
