I am confused by the death date of Martha Smith Rooks. Ancestry shows a Martha Rooks died in Worth County, Georgia on the 19th of July 1929. I find John Jackson Rooks living as a widow in 1930 Florida with his daughter, Susan Jane Rooks Lamb. Where is Martha? Is she deceased or are they just living apart? I know what the tombstone says but I cannot find any record supporting that date.
