Elisha Buzbee was born 1765. I have found information that he was born in Orangeburgh District, South Carolina near Edisto River, Lexington County.
Elisha Buzbee married Elizabeth Gunter cir. 1790. Elizabeth Gunter was born 1772 in North Carolina. Elisha and Elizabeth had 3 children that are known of. Frederick Buzbee, born 1792, Edgefield County, South Carolina; William Harrison Buzbee, born 1805, Edgefield County, South Carolina; Unknown daughter, born 1795.
Death
Elisha Buzbee died in 1840 and is buried in the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Florala, Covington County, Alabama. After Elisha died, Elizabeth would live with her sons. In 1850, she is found living with her son, Frederick in Coffee County, Alabama. In 1860, she is living with her brother, Rivers Gunter, in Coffee County, Alabama and in 1870, she is living with her son, Frederick, in Walton County, Florida. Elizabeth died in 1871 and is buried next to Elisha.
