Dallas Lemon Perry was born in Hillsborough County, Florida in cir. Apr 1885 to Caroline Cordelia Perry. I suspect that Lawrence Buzbee was actually his father but do not have proof. His death certificate states that his father was a Perry but I have found no evidence that Caroline was ever married before.

Dallas lived with his mother and sister, Rosa Olivia Perry in the Ruskin area of Hillsborough County, Florida. In the 1885 Florida state census, Dallas is 3 months old and Rosa is 3 years old and listed as a Buzbee but Dallas is listed as a Perry. Dallas went by the surname Buzbee until his marriage to Grace Herndon,
Death
Dallas Lemon Perry died on 16 Mar 1930 in Ruskin and is buried in Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Wimauma. His wife, Grace Herndon Perry died in Jul of 1965 and is buried in Fellowship Cemetery also. Grace Herndon Perry is buried in the Buzbee plot with James Corbett and Annie Hewett Buzbee. I have walked all of Fellowship Cemetery and cannot find Dallas Lemon Perry grave. It is unmarked at this time.
