Marriage and Family
Columbus Alexander Buzbee lived in the Hillsborough County, Florida area until the death of his mother, Caroline Laney Buzbee in 1887. Soon after, Columbus and his brother, Marion left for northern Florida. Columbus finally settled in Levy County, Florida, where he met and married Mary Jane Ezelle on the 14 Apr 1898. Columbus Alexander Buzbee lived his entire adult life in Levy County and raised 10 children with his wife, Mary Jane.
Death and Burial
Columbus Alexander Buzbee died on the 13 Sep 1946 at the age of 76 and is buried in the Buzbee plot in the Dunnellon Cemetery in Dunnellon, Florida. Mary Jane Ezelle Buzbee died the 17 Apr 1955 and is buried next to Columbus and four of her children: Lloyd, Dorothy, Ralph and Hiram.
