John Richard Pitts died 5 Oct 1973 in Hillsborough County, Florida and is buried in the Fellowship Cemetery next to his wife, Retha. John Richard was mowing the lawn and stopped for a rest, his wife, Retha went to get him something cool to drink and when she returned he had passed away.
