Margaret Haman was born to Williamson Haman and Susan/Sukey Mercer/Messor in cir. 1828-1832 in Robeson County, North Carolina.
Through the years
Margaret Haman married Andrew Jackson Bowman on 25 Dec 1853 in Irwin County, Georgia. They had several children. In 1880, it show two small children, ages 4 and 2 listed as their sons, Charles and a child not named, these are the children of Susan. She is listed as married but living with her parents. I believe that the John living with them in 1900 is Susan’s son as well. He is listed with Susan in Berrien County but it is possible that he was listed twice.
Death
I do not know where Margaret Haman Bowman or her husband Andrew Jackson Bowman are buried. I do not know when Margaret died. Andrew died 03 Feb 1913 in Decatur County, Georgia. I find Andrew and Margaret in 1900 Irwin County, Georgia Census but by 1910, Andrew is living as a widower in Decatur with his daughter, Susan S. Bowman Davis, which coincides with his pension application from 1913.
