Lawrence Wilburn Buzbee was born 02 May 1865 in Baldwin County, Alabama to Lawrence and Caroline Laney Buzbee. Coming to the Hillsborough County, Florida area with his family, Lawrence soon married. It is believed that he married Eleanor Tucker on 07 Jul 1892, who died shortly after the marriage. He then married Rene Manning and that union resulted in five children.

Death and Burial
Lawrence Wilburn Buzbee died in 1941 and his wife, Rene in 1942. Both Rene and Lawrence Buzbee are buried in the Samford Cemetery in Riverview, Florida, along with their three sons, Estelle, Judd and Wayland.
